When a form is missing from an onboarding packet, first distinguish a document omission from a change to the engagement itself. The distinction helps the authorized team choose a supported route rather than rebuilding work unnecessarily.
What the product documents
Start+ documents a permission-enabled way for hiring managers to send additional documents to certain existing offers. The guide lists Pending Employee, Pending Approval and Approved as eligible stages, and says pending additional documents must be completed or rescinded before another set is sent. Completed additions join the final packet. Verify the project’s permission and present conditions in the official guide.
This publication does not decide which forms are required. That determination belongs to the production’s authorized legal, employment or payroll process. The planning method begins after someone identifies a specific document question.
Prepare a document decision note
State why the question exists: an approved form was omitted, a new form was introduced, or someone is uncertain about the packet. These are different starting points. Identify the person who determines the appropriate document and the role authorized to act in the product.
Record whether a previous additional-document cycle remains open. Do not treat the original packet’s apparent completion as proof that every later addition is finished. A second cycle creates another responsibility handoff, even when it remains connected to the same offer.
Fictional case: a late form
A production introduces an approved document after a group has accepted their offers. The coordinator prepares the intended scope and asks the authorized operator to confirm the supported route. The internal note tracks the new document cycle separately from the original invitation. The team does not send a duplicate offer simply because that is the workflow someone remembers.
Make the recipient communication narrow
The internal drafting question is simple: can the recipient understand what new action is requested without receiving unnecessary private information? A concise explanation of the document purpose and the official action route is more useful than an alarming generic message saying all onboarding is incomplete.
Use the actual service’s communication options and the production’s approved wording. This article does not supply a message to impersonate Cast & Crew, and the publication never sends onboarding invitations. Do not paste real recipient details into an editorial contact form.
Close the correct loop
Completion means checking the result of this document cycle in the authorized record, not merely confirming that an email was sent. Identify who will perform that check and who owns any remaining question. Avoid maintaining a parallel repository of signed packets just to give a planning board a green status.
For changed engagement details, consult the change-control guide. For delayed actions, use the daily exception brief to separate a recipient task from an internal approval task.
